The Aqwest Photographic Competition is on again and after the huge variety of fantastic entries last year, "Water Art" will once again be the theme.
Students from primary and high schools in the Greater Bunbury area are eligible to enter the 12 Years and under and 13 to 17 Years categories.
Entrants will go in the running to win prize money for themselves and their schools.
Two Board prizes will also be awarded.
The placegetters' photos will be showcased in the 2019 Aqwest calendar.
Bunbury professional photographers Sarah Henderson from Henderson Photographics and Paul Verhagen from Pyxis Services will judge the competition.
"Once again this year we will be looking for entries that really grab our attention, are creative and different," Mr Verhagen said.
"We want people to look beyond the obvious and challenge their perception of water. After being blown away with the creativity and standard last year, the judges can't wait to see what students come up with in 2018."
The judges will be looking for technical competence, creativity and representation of the theme.
"Water conservation is vitally important to preserve water for future generations, and through the Aqwest Photography Competition, we are engaging an important audience to help advocate to conserve this precious resource, while honing their photography skills," Aqwest Chief Executive Officer Brad Bevis said.
Entries will open on 1 May and close on 29 June, 2018.
Entry forms are available from the Aqwest foyer at 5 MacKinnon Way, Bunbury or from aqwest.com.au.
