An event aiming to inspire and empower women from all walks of life is coming to Bunbury.
The Inspire Collective is a women’s movement, which taps into a new wave of creative entrepreneurs.
Led by singer and songwriter, Cate Williams, the Inspire Collective is hosting its first event outside of Perth at the Dalyellup Community Centre on June 23 from 7pm to inspire women in all areas of creativity.
“Our heartbeat is to inspire and connect women to discover their purpose, embrace their passions and live with courage and creativity,” she said.
“From the very beginning, I wanted to create a space that made room for a community of creative women to emerge, who felt that they could create, share, inspire, collaborate and bring their dreams to a common space.
“They should expect a warm welcome, a place where they can connect with other artists and creatives in whatever part of the journey they find themselves in.”
Those who attend the event will receive a welcome drink, a gift to take home with several local and state keynote speakers presenting on the topic of creative resilience and delicous food.
Ms Williams encouraged women to attend if they wanted to be inspired, to get kickstarted in what they’re doing or were wanting to explore their creative potential from writers to photographers, entrepreneurs and craftspeople.
“I believe that everybody is creative, they just haven’t discovered yet,” she said.
“Wherever women find themselves in life, they are welcome to come along.
“This non-threatening, all-inclusive community invites women to come to listen, cheer one another on, refocus their dreams, and immerse themselves in an environment of connection and empowerment.”
Ms Williams said Inspire Collective events had encouraged women to launch businesses, record music, write books, and a myriad of other new initiatives.
Local businesses are also invited to apply to set up an Inspired Space at the event, which will give women an opportunity to promote their work and engage with others.
