The City of Bunbury Surf Life Saving Club has congratulated the 2017/18 Summer season’s best and brightest.
Held on Friday, May 11, the awards ceremony acknowledged the tireless efforts of the club’s competitors and volunteers.
Michael Kavanagh won the Rod Killerby Most Enthusiastic Cadet award, while Shannon Hill picked up Phillip Best Best Junior Member.
Charlotte Banks was the worthy recipient of the Doug McGhie Patrol Lifesaver of the Year award.
Gary Carthew was given the Tony and Julie Snelling Education and Training Award.
Phillip and Julie Best took out the Glen Morton Best Club Member award.
Dave Barton lifted the Presidents Trophy, celebrating a successful 2017/18 season.
Wayne Mould received a 60 years Certificate of Service.
Mr Mould joined surf life saving in 1958.
