A 52-year-old man received three drug-related charges following a search on an Australind residence last week.
Australind police carried out a search warrant on a residence in Clifton Park on Tuesday, May 22.
An elaborate hydroponic set-up was found in a shed, containing 28 plants overall.
The plants ranged from seedlings to fully-grown specimens.
Four grams of methamphetamine was also found on the premises.
A 52-year-old man was charged with cultivating cannabis, possessing cannabis, and possessing methamphetamine.
Western Power is also conducting investigations at the scene.
Australind Police Officer in Charge Senior Sergeant Mark Smith said the bust was part of their ongoing focus on drug dealing and distribution in the region.
Sen. Sgt. Smith said police had received information about the residence from the public.
He added the hydroponic set-up was able to cultivate cannabis at a rapid rate.
He confirmed the residence had previously been searched in 2014 and had housed a similar set-up.
The investigation is ongoing.
