Organisers have confirmed the routes for the 2018 Cycling Australia Junior Road National Championships in Bunbury later this year.
Cyclists in the under 15 and 17 categories will battle for the coveted green and gold national champion's jerseys in the time trial, road race and criterium disciplines.
Bunbury will host the individual time trial on September 21, before the road race hits Dardanup on the 22nd.
On September 23, some of the nation’s best riders will take on the criterium event in Bunbury.
More than 300 of Australia’s best junior athletes will head to Bunbury for the three days of cycling action.
Bunbury Mayor Gary Brennan has expressed his excitement for the event.
“It is a great honour to have Bunbury selected as the host city for the 2018 Championships,” he said.
“It will bring a number of benefits to Bunbury – both economically and by encouraging participation in sports – not to mention showcasing our great city to visiting athletes and their friends and families who will get to experience the paradise that is our city.”
Cycling Australia chief executive officer Steve Drake recognised the support of the City of Bunbury.
“Cycling events are only possible through the assistance and support from local regions and we thank the City of Bunbury who is right behind the 2018 Junior Nationals,” he said.
“The courses are truly spectacular and will showcase the best of what WA has to offer.
“We look forward to an exceptional event and wish all the competitors the best.”
