Squash champions converged on Bunbury last weekend for the Grays Squash 2018 South West Junior Classic.
Held on June 16 by the Bunbury Squash Club, the tournament hosted players from around the South West and other parts of the state.
The competitors had a blast playing on the South West Sports Centre’s collection of courts.
In the division one category, Marmion’s Remi Young, Callum Blakey, and Kiran Byles finished first, second, and third respectively.
Jhett Bosshard – of Maddington/Gosnells – clinched the division two title over Michaela Pratt in second place and Kaleb Sands in third.
Finlay Galt, of Marmion, won the division three crown, while Bunbury’s Eva French was awarded the division four championship.
Bunbury athlete Jaiden Dorsman took home the division five title.
Eleven squash players from Bunbury took part in the one-day tournament.
The event is part of the Southern Grand Prix Series, comprised of four competitions held throughout the year.
