The Bunbury and Districts Badminton Association is calling on more junior athletes to come down and have a go.
They currently have around 50 junior players, split between Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
The groups train under a collection of coaches, including Badminton WA life-member Rob Italiano.
Former junior players also come along to help train the new recruits.
Bunbury and Districts Badminton Association president Nigel Smith said people were welcome to sign up at any time of the year.
“We love seeing the kids being involved in the sport, it’s just terrific,” he said.
“This is a very popular group and for us it’s really encouraging to see the number or parents and children here.”
Mr Smith said the club plays a mix of social and pennants Badminton each week.
The club is getting ready for the Bunbury Open, drawing some of the state’s best badminton players to the region in September.
Head to the club’s Facebook page for more details.
