A unique and new way of presenting musical concerts is coming to Bunbury with workshops also to be held for budding musicians.
Expect adventurous work by a new generation of experimental musicians, ranging from improvised performances to precise electro-acoustic compositions.
Outcome Unknown presented by composer Eduardo Cossio with a collection of musicians, will be performed at 6pm on July 22 at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.
Cossio who studied composition at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, described the concert series as a meeting place for collaboration.
“It’s kind of a place for audiences to see things that are a little bit more hybrid,” he said.
“We are looking to meet people and play in collaboration – the concerts are laid back with a really friendly atmosphere and we’re approaching the instruments in a very personal way.”
The workshop is open to all ages and skills and will be held before the concert at 2pm.
