A fuse of cultures collided in a delicious winter feast on Friday night.
St Augustine Uniting Church hosted a Multicultural Winter Feast to raise funds for the ministry on July 6.
The night included a multicultural three-course dinner, an auction, quiz, games and a raffle.
Church minister Greg Ross said there was so many different nationalities from all over the world that made up the congregation.
“We really just wanted to celebrate the cultures that make up our community and we’re encouraging people to come in their national dress.”
Church member Jodie Montgomery said it was a community that was always there and available to everyone.
“I think having a feast like this opens it up to everyone not necessarily people who would come to church but opens the door to meet new people and share stories,” she said.
