Twenty teams drawn to annual Australind Junior Soccer Club Girls Carnival on July 7

Future soccer stars from around Western Australia converged on Leschenault Recreation Ground last weekend to play some games, meet new people, and enjoy the outdoors.

Approximately 330 players hit the field as part of the annual Australind Junior Soccer Club Girls Carnival on Saturday, July 7.

Twenty teams took part in the weekend’s frenzying soccer competition, eight of which visited from outside the Coastal Country Junior Association.

MacKillop Junior Soccer Club was strong enough to take down the Australind Panthers in the Under 10s’ division.

In the U12s’ division, Carramar Football Club outmatched the Australind Wildcats.

The WA State School Girls’ side clinched victory over Leeuwin Naturaliste JSA Devils in the U15s’ competition.

Australind Junior Soccer Club said “amazing skills, determination, team work, and team spirit” were all on display.

The club has now begun planning for an even more successful carnival in 2019.
