Australind Police first class constable Sean Follows will put his body and mind to the test to raise awareness for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
Mr Follows will take on the Cape to Cape – a 135-kilometre, six-day walk from Dunsborough (Cape Naturaliste) to Augusta (Cape Leeuwin) – this September.
Mr Follows has already launched his fundraising campaign, aiming to raise $10,000 for this year’s event.
He previously conquered the South West Mudfest in 2016 and 2017 on the organisation’s behalf.
While serving in Kalgoorlie in 2015, Mr Follows joined the Daniel Morcombe Foundation’s ambassador program.
“The safety of kids is most important – being a police officer and a parent – so I just wanted to get involved and just wanted to help as much as I could,” he said.
Donation boxes are available at Bunbury Police Station, Australind Police Station, and Sportspower Bunbury.
