Penny Toland allegedly gave false information to a Crime and Corruption Commission hearing.
Former Gold Coast mayoral candidate Penny Toland will be required to face a commitall hearing next month on a charge of perjury.
Toland was charged by the Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission after allegedly giving false information to a 2017 hearing into the Gold Coast local government elections.
The hearing, which is expected to last three days, is set to begin on September 17 at Southport Magistrates Court.
