It’s a long trek from Western Australia to Gympie, but singer-songwriter Kate Hindle can’t wait to play for Queensland audiences at the Gympie Music Muster.
Kate made the trek over east this week to compete in the Muster Talent Search.
“I’m so excited to be around the amazing people who go to the Muster,” she said.
“I was there a few years ago and the atmosphere was incredible, so I can’t wait to be around that again.
“Performing on the main stage has always been a dream of mine and I’m so extremely lucky to be part of the Talent Search and receive that opportunity.
“I have my WA cheer squad coming and I just can’t wait to show Gympie what I’ve got.”
The country music artist released her debut album Ready for the Ride in January and her latest single Loneliness was released in July.
She will tour also Victoria in September to promote the single and her album for two weeks, before returning home.
The Muster Talent Search finals will be held from Friday, August 24 until Sunday, August 26.
