New developments are underway at the Parade Taphouse after fire desecrated its kitchen area earlier this month.
Thanks to approvals from the City of Bunbury, the East Bunbury venue has fast-tracked plans to install an outdoor alfresco kitchen with a woodfired pizza oven and kebab barbecue station.
The kitchen was gutted by a fire, due to spontaneous combustion caused by tea towels, around 2am on Sunday, September 2.
Bunbury fire crews, Western Power personnel, and police attended the blaze during the morning.
Owners were then forced to turn away Father’s Day reservations due to the severity of the damage.
The venue has since received messages of support from people across Bunbury on social media.
Help also came from a host of Bunbury business including Bankwest Bunbury, Cravens Foods Bunbury, WFI Insurance, and Cleanaway Bunbury.
