In a bid to raise money for Telethon, Eaton Fair’s Coles is raffling off every kids dream come true – the ultimate cubby house.
Built by the Dalyellup Men’s Shed with several Eaton businesses donating materials for it, more than 2,000 tickets have already been sold.
Dalyellup Men's Shed president John Bermingham said he was delighted with how it turned out.
“I hope we raise plenty of money – it’s something special,” he said.
“We do a lot of things for the community, every Christmas we build a load of toys for the Salvos and Hospital, we built a cubby house for Dalyellup Primary School and we offered to make one for Coles.”
Eaton Fair Coles service supervisor Aimee Hughes said all the Coles stores went crazy to raise money for Telethon every year.
“When it got here we couldn’t believe how big it was – we’re going to try and sell as many tickets as possible and it will be drawn on October 13,” she said.
Raffle tickets are available from the Eaton Fair Coles service desk, $2 each or three tickets for $5.
