Two Australind teenagers are working overtime to make 1/8 scale radio-controlled nitro buggy racing the talk of the town.
Aaron and Ben Dexter have qualified for IFMAR Nitro Off-road World Championships in Perth this November.
The two-day event marks the first world championships to be held in Australia, with over 200 competitors due to visit the West Australian capital.
Over the next two months, the duo will travel to Perth each week to hone their skills and prepare themselves for the world stage.
Aaron and Ben regularly travel as far as Kalgoorlie and Geraldton to compete against other RC revheads.
As 8-year-olds, the pair were first introduced to nitro buggy racing by their father, Tom Dexter.
Aron and Ben continued to pursue their love of the sport, leading them to compete in six national events over the past two years.
Earlier this year, they competed against the current world and European champions in the Philippines.
