Over 200 competitors were in Bunbury over the long weekend for the running of the 2018 Make Smoking History West Australian Kart Championships at the Bunbury City Kart Club.
Bunbury provided perfect weather for the drivers who came from as far afield as Perth, Albany, Exmouth, Karratha, Esperance, Darwin, and South Australia for the three-day event.
Crews and spectators first hit the Bunbury City Kart Club premises on Saturday, September 22.
After testing out the track during the warm-up stage, drivers from across the state then took part in Sunday’s qualifying round.
It’s unbelievable and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve had the biggest crowd we’ve ever had and it’s been great.
