The Stirling Street Arts Centre is calling for submissions for the 2019 Tree Street Art Safari.
Entries are now open for the event, which will weave its way through the streets of Bunbury on Saturday, March 23, 2019.
Coordinator Jo O’Dea said the event was enhanced through community interaction and engagement..
“This initiative is a fabulous way the Art Safari contributes to the development of regional artists,” she said.
This years events saw two artists create works where passers-by were encouraged to write message on ribbon in a small marquee, or select a mask that reflected their thoughts or whims, which was then photographed for a larger work.
One artist will also have the opportunity to win $1000 to create an interactive installation that will encourage engagement in the front yard or verge of a home.
Interested artists are invited to submit a proposal to create and install their own work at the 2019 event.
Submissions can be directed to events@joodea.com.au.
