Harvey police are actively investigating four burglaries from the past week.
A tractor was stolen from a property in Tredrea Place, Myalup between October 21 and 22.
Waroona police then found the tractor at Preston Beach on Monday afternoon.
On Thursday, a box trailer with a ride-on lawn mover was removed from a side shed at a home in Korijekup Road, Harvey.
Last week, one woman disturbed four people attempting to steal from her Campbell Road, Benger premises.
The four males then left the area in a white vehicle.
No items were removed from the premises at the time.
Police believe a white vehicle was involved in a burglary in Riverdale Road, Cookernup.
Harvey Police Officer in Charge Sergeant Scott Gillis said items inside the home were moved around, but nothing was stolen.
Sgt. Gillis said police were calling on the public for information about last week’s burglaries.
“We’re seeking any information in regards to those, if anyone has information about those – or any other offences – they are urged to ring Harvey Police,” he said.
“Fortunately, burglaries like these are not common but we do have spates of it.
“It’s important people know their neighbours, they remain vigilant, they keep their premises secure, and they look out for one another.
“It’s about being vigilant in your area.”
He added burglaries made for “very serious” offences, and that police were determined to find those responsible.
“They’re invading someone’s property and personal space, people who do commit these offences can face time in jail,” he said.
“These offences have a lot of personal impact on the victims.”
Sgt. Gillis said vehicle registration numbers were valuable in finding people of interest.
“The first thing people need to look at is the registration plate, then the make and model,” he said.
“If we have the vehicle registration number, that’s a walk-up start for us.”
