A 46-year-old man allegedly at the centre of an assault last month has been ordered to return to court in December.
Andrew John Turner faced Bunbury Magistrates Court on Monday, October 29 charged with one count of unlawful assault, causing bodily harm in circumstances of aggravation.
Police allege Turner assaulted an 11-year-old boy at Treendale Shopping Centre at 12pm on Monday, October 8.
After the incident, police charged Turner with aggravated assault.
In court, Magistrate Belinda Coleman read out the charge to Turner.
Ms Coleman said the circumstances needed to be considered as the alleged victim was underage.
Mr Turner’s defence called for the matter be adjourned to a later date.
Mr Turner will return to Bunbury Magistrates Court on Monday, December 10.
