This weekend Donnybrook is expected to play host to more than 4,000 food and wine lovers from across the South West.
A celebration of the regions vibrant food and wine, the 12th annual Donnybrook Food and Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, November 24, from 9am at the Donnybrook Amphitheatre.
Tastings of award-winning wine and gourmet food will be on offer with live entertainment throughout the day and a selection of speciality stalls along with children’s activities.
Festival president John Small said the annual free event helped to promote local produce and feature Donnybrook wineries.
“It brings people into the area to see what Donnybrook has to offer,” he said.

“The wines in this area are extremely good that have been highly awarded, that people aren’t really aware of.
“We need to show that Donnybrook does have some excellent wines to show.
“It’s a lovely little town and it’s a great day out.”
