An award winning Christmas lights display is underway again in Dalyellup, having already raised more than $50,000 for Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation over the past four years.
Marie Vranjes has dedicated countless hours throughout the year to create a spectacular display, inspired by her desire to support sick children in WA.
“It is great to be able to fundraise for such a great cause,” she said.
“Being the highest individual fundraiser for PCHF for the past four years, I was recently given a tour of the new hospital and shown the ambulance I had raised money for one year.
“It brought a tear to my eye and made it all worthwhile.
“I have been decorating my home for 16 years and what started as one string of lights when I was a kid has grown into something massive as I definitely now have a Christmas lights addiction.”
Ms Vranjes said after she was chosen for the People’s Choice Award on the Synergy Xmas Lights Trail in 2017, she was inspired to go one better this year to raise more funds for PCHF.
