Singer-songwriter Benny Mayhem will bring new sounds and fan favourites to Bunbury later this month.
He and his band will perform at the Prince of Wales Hotel on Friday, December 28, in celebration of Mayhem’s latest single, Bulwer Street Waltz.
The Bulwer Street Waltz Xmas Mayhem Tour will hit Bunbury on the 28th, before picking up again in Perth in the new year.
“It’s a great venue. We’re looking forward to going back and seeing everyone again,” he said.
“We love bringing our music to people in areas which are often overlooked by the mainstream.
“We like bringing our art to folks who would normally have to travel to Perth to see it.”
Mayhem carried out extensive tours of Australia, America, and Europe after Project Mayhem folded in 2012.
From first fronting Project Mayhem to today, he has performed over 700 live shows across 11 countries.
“What I’m doing with this new band is something I haven’t seen done much in Western Australia before,” he said.
“It’s all about taking folk music and up-tempo rock, and mixing the two together.”
