The Capel community have packed away their favourite pink things after spending the month of October supporting the McGrath Foundation through the Pink Up Your Town initiaitve.
Shire of Capel community development officer Donna Sims said the first year of the Pink Up Your town campaign had gone brilliantly with the community being very supportive.
“The whole town came on board in one way or another,” she said.
As part of the campaign the Shire of Capel created a calendar with 16 local men donning their best pink outfits.
A massive thank you to all involved, including local businesses in Capel for assisting with selling the calendars and pinking up their businesses to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation.

Ms Sims said the Shire of Capel would participate again next year after raising almost $3,000.
