After taking out this year’s Bunbury Bus Hire Handicap, Friarandice ($1.40) raced to victory in the $19,000 Dale Alcock Homes South West Handicap.
Led by rider Chris Parnham on December 5, the brown mare faced stiff competition during the event.
Friarandice was in the middle of the field past the final turn, before moving up on the home straight.
She crossed the line just a short head in front of High Tea.
Competing in a strong field of eight, Kentoo ($4) settled in fourth after leaving the barrier.
The grey gelding then moved up the field to win the Allan for Breakfast Handicap.
He crossed a short half head in front of Tripleto and three-quarters-of-a-length ahead of Apollo.
Race Favourite Stormy Ora fell back on the home straight to finish seventh.
Trainers Grant and Alana Williams cheered after rider William Pike pushed Universal Warrior ($5.50) to victory in the Drive Home With Cliff Handicap.
Universal Warrior finished a nose ahead of Euphonious and a long head in front of race favourite Unibro.
The Tyrepower Collie and Treendale Handicap saw a field of 10 compete over 2238 metres.
New Zealand bay mare Drink the Rainbow settled in last place and then moved up to ninth at the 800m mark.
Eighth past the final turn, she moved swiftly before crossing the line a head in front of Captain Jack.
