Smiling faces, waving hands and plenty of Christmas cheer greeted the residents of Bunbury at this years Christmas in the City street parade.
More than 40 walking groups, floats, sporting clubs, performers, vintage cars and the big man himself traveled through Bunbury’s CBD on Sunday afternoon to the delight of thousands of community members who traveled from across the South West to be there.
The annual event hosted by the City of Bunbury aims to encourage the community in celebrating the start of the festive season catering to all ages with an inflatable snowdome with swirling confetti, a market square and of course the carols concert all highlight favourites.
The afternoon also featured Christmas-themed mini-golf, arts and crafts workshops and food trucks.
“We love seeing the community join together to celebrate Christmas in the City,” Bunbury Mayor Gary Brennan said.
“It is a great opportunity for our community to socialise together with families and friends enjoying a spectacular parade and concert.”
