Some of Western Australia’s best drivers are getting ready for round six of the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series on Wednesday, December 26.
The event will mark the first night of USA vs. WA Sprintcar Speedweek.
After five rounds, Myalup driver Jamie Maiolo, of LJM Racing, is on top with 1016 points.
His brother Brad Maiolo, also of LJM Racing, is second on 994, ahead of Jason Pryde on 928, Mitchell Wormall on 846, and Jason Kendrick on 844.
Last week, Bunbury-based team Krikke Motorsport celebrated after champion driver Kerry Madsen cruised to victory in the feature race at Perth Motorplex.
The WA Title win gave Madsen confidence going into Boxing Day’s meet.
Wingless sprintcar drivers Chad Pittard and Ash Hounsfield, of Pittard Racing, will be looking to continue their team’s strong start to the season next week.
