Tawny Pete ($2.40) thundered down the home straight to claim the $19,000, 1100-metre Mainline Plumbing Handicap on Sunday afternoon.

Unfazed throughout the race, Tawny Pete crossed the line a full five-and-a-half lengths ahead of second-placed Cold as Cold.

Following a poor start, Go Crying and rider Peter Knuckey struggled to move up the field.
The bay gelding went on to finish three-quarters-of-a-length ahead of Wanted Desire.
The 1675m Southern Built Homes and Sheds Handicap saw rider Daniel Staeck and Mouquet ($5) cross the line in style.
After settling in second, the brown mare was first past the 800m mark and the turn.
Mouquet finished a neck in front of Kia Ora Star and two lengths ahead of Awesome As.
Race favourite Tradement ($2.80) took out the $16,500 William Barrett and Sons Handicap, finishing a short-half-head in front of The Divine Wind.
