The Bunbury Trotting Club is getting ready for the annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular.
The event will deliver pacing action as well as fun for the whole family.
Children will even be given the chance to run a full lap of the track.
Bunbury Trotting Club general manager Julie Doble said the event would also feature food trucks, coffee vans, and live music.
She said New Years Eve was a major part of the club’s events calendar.
“People are quite welcome to bring their own picnic rugs and picnic food,” she said.
“I think it’s good for the family, it’s also a really safe venue.
“After coming to the event, people may wish to come along to a few more race meetings throughout the year.
“The race meetings we have after New Years Eve always seem to be nice and busy.”
The event will include a sausage sizzle to raise funds for the Bunbury Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade.
“They have helped us out every year – it’s nice to able to say ‘thank you’ to them,” Ms Doble said.
