Gyroscope will bring its year to a close with a wild night in Bunbury, taking a trip down memory lane in the process.
On December 30, the band will head to the Prince of Wales Hotel for a performance not to be missed.
Prior to the Bunbury gig, the boys will deliver the goods at the Dunsborough Tavern on December 29.
“We always have a fun time in Bunbury. We probably played our first show at the Prince of Wales when we were 19 or 20,” lead guitarist Zoran Trivic said.
“We’re pushing late-30s now, so we just love coming to the Prince.
“It’s that 45 minutes/one hour on stage each time where we get the most out of our music.”
After releasing their new single, the band’s members put their construction skills to good use by building a “Gyroscope headquarters” in Perth.
The band is currently travelling and hitting venues around the nation.
With each tour “few and far between, nowadays”, Trivic relished the chance to perform live and re-visit Bunbury.
“We’re good friends, first and foremost,” he said.
“We put together this band just out of high school, and we’ve remained the best of friends through the ups and downs.
“The chemistry of having the same four dudes in the band, all writing music together, makes it really feel like a team or a gang.”
