As 2018 comes to an end I encourage residents in the South West to have a safe and happy start to 2019.
We are fortunate to have many visitors to our part of the world during the holiday period so I encourage everyone to be patient with increased traffic and don’t take any risks on our roads.
I also encourage people to take care when using our beaches and waterways over the summer.
Please make sure that children are always supervised and let people know where you will be if heading to the ocean or one of our rivers.
Please stay safe online.
I encourage you to make a New Year’s resolution to regularly check your privacy settings on social media sites and keep up with changes which could put privacy at risk, especially with photo sharing.
Throughout 2018 I have been fortunate to be able to spend a lot of time in the Forrest electorate and have seen so much of the good work which is being done within our region.
Please stay safe as I look forward to seeing you in 2019.
