Forrest MP Nola Marino is urging the State Government, the Department of Transport and Main Roads to listen to community concerns over the proposed route of the Bunbury Outer Ring Road.
Mrs Marino said the Bunbury Outer Ring Road had been raised as a key issue for South West communities.
“While the Federal Government was responsible for the partial funding of the Bunbury Outer Ring Road, the State Government, through Main Roads, has the responsibility for the design, construction and operation of the project,” she said.
“I urge any concerned residents or stakeholders to contact Main Roads or their local state member to raise any issues involved in the planning of this proposal.”

Mrs Marino said she had fought for the funding of the project to make South West roads safer, ease congestion and make access to the region easier for residents and vistors.
“The Liberal Government contributed $560 million to make this road a reality, it is now up to Main Roads and the State Government to develop the best possible way forward,” she said.
