A 17-year-old was remanded into custody following a string of offences across Perth and Bunbury on New Year’s Eve.
The male stole a white Holden Caprice in Chuchlands on Monday morning, before being involved in a fuel drive-off at a Bunbury petrol station around 5pm.
South West police attempted to stop the car in Withers at 7.15pm.
After he attempted to evade police, the pursuing officers aborted the chase due to safety reasons.
The car entered the garage of a South Bunbury residence around 7.30pm.
Noticing the roller door had been pulled down, the homeowner entered the garage to investigate.
The boy then reversed through the roller doors and fled the scene.
At 10.30pm, Perth police pursued and attempted to halt the male on William Street.
After travelling southbound on the Kwinana Freeway, he dumped the car in Barker Avenue, Como.
He climbed onto the roof of a Park Street home, before apprehended and taken into custody.
West Australian police are continuing their investigations.
