Local wineries interested in learning more about the South West’s biggest wine export market are invited to attend a free workshop taking place this month.
The South West Development Commission-hosted workshop being held on Thursday January 31 will provide information relevant to those wanting to uncork the China wine market.
Speaking at the event will be Summer Yan from Godolphin Communication, a company in mainland China exclusively licensed for the promotion and distribution of James Halliday and Halliday Wine Companion brands.
SWDC TradeStart manager Mat Lewis encouraged South West businesses to take up the opportunity to hear from the visiting China-based wine expert.
“China is the South West’s largest wine market and continues to grow, presenting opportunities for businesses in the region,” Mr Lewis said.
“Attending this event will be a valuable chance to be updated on the China wine market, including distribution, online export sales and communications.”
The workshop will take place at 3pm on Thursday January 31 at Caves House Hotel in Yallingup.
