South West Police are helping community members to learn more about home security.
Senior Constable Neale Horsley will conduct a home security workshop outside Bunnings Treendale on Saturday, February 16, from 9am to 1pm.
He revealed the event would provide information on home security measures and community safety.
“We’ll be giving people information on crime prevention and how they can secure their homes,” he said.
“We’ll also be providing helpful hints regarding window locks, sensor lights, and CCTV systems.”
Sen. Const. Horsley urged residents to remain alert, look out for one another, and report suspicious behaviour to police.
“People should report anything they do see as being suspicious, as it could help police solve a crime or prevent a crime,” he said.
“Community members should also always remember to keep their doors and windows locked, even when they’re at home.”
Sen. Const. Horsley will travel to Busselton to host a crime prevention information session on Saturday, February 23.
