The Stirling Street Arts Centre officially wrapped up its 2019 Bunbury Summer School program on January 20.
In its sixth year, the program hosted 600 people across a range of classes/workshops.
Local indigenous artist Ester McDowell was on hand to lend her expertise.
Summer School coordinator Rebecca Corps was pleased with the overwhelming number of courses and attendees.
“The courses are great for your mental health,” she said.
“Each year, we try to do a range of courses to cater to different people and to get new people through the doors.
“It gives people something to do over the Summer. In particular, the kids workshops in the Summer holidays are great.
“It’s rewarding to see so many people have a lot of fun."
Ms Corps said they would like to hold more multi-cultural workshops next Summer.
“We’d also like to help out more artists in the future by supporting them through the grants we receive,” she said.
The Stirling Street Arts Centre’s construction projects are scheduled to begin later this year.
