A Balingup man has faced court over a series of drug-related charges.
Facing Bunbury Magistrates Court on January 17, David Carn Giumelli pleaded guilty to cultivating a prohibited plant with intent to sell or supply, possessing a prohibited drug (cannabis), and possessing drug paraphernalia.
Police prosecutor sergeant Dean Talbot told the court police searched a Balingup residence at 10.50am on September 9, 2018.
Police found a smoking implement at the scene.
Mr Giumelli’s lawyer said his client was in a position to pay fines.
Magistrate Belinda Coleman handed down a $250 fine for the drug paraphernalia charge.
The other two matters were remanded to the Bunbury District Court in March.
Mr Giumelli’s bail conditions include a $5000 personal undertaking.
