The Bunbury Basketball Association held its second Masters Carnival on Saturday, February 2.
The event featured 11 teams (seven men’s teams and four women’s sides) from across the South West –Harvey Wallbangers, Dunsborough Oilers, Eaton Eagles, Busselton Bullets, Aces, Bulls, and Tornadoes.
Tornadoes claimed the men’s and women’s titles on the day.
Bunbury Basketball Association senior director Rob Dempster said this year’s carnival was a tremendous success.
“We had great feedback from all of the teams and players,” he said.
“We had three teams in the first year and 11 in the second.
“I’ll be sending out a survey to the participants soon, to get some further feedback and discuss the future.
“I expect there will be other towns that will soon be contributing teams.”
