Harvey police got more than they bargained for during a drug bust last week.
Officers executed a search warrant in Cooper Street, Harvey on Monday, February 11 at 2.30pm.
Police uncovered a compound bow and arrow, eight cannabis plants of various sizes, drug paraphernalia, and a small amount of cannabis.
One male was charged with possessing a controlled weapon, cultivating cannabis, possessing cannabis, and possessing drug paraphernalia, while a woman received one count of cultivating cannabis.
“There is no issue with weapons in Harvey, but we encourage anyone with any information to contact Crime Stoppers no matter,” Harvey Police Officer In Charge Sergeant Scott Gillis said.
“It might be the missing piece of the puzzle we need.”
