The Australind Junior Soccer Club is looking forward to the future, after receiving grant funding from Bankwest.
The club recently received $1000 through Bankwest's Easy Grants program, allowing them to purchase four mobile goals.
Australind Junior Soccer Club president David South said they were excited to use the equipment prior to the new season.
“This is wonderful news and the kids are very excited to get some new equipment," he said.
"We’ve been looking forward in getting quality equipment for the juniors which can be used for a number of years.
“With a club with over 400 registered members, it is great to get community support and are thankful for the great support that we have been given."
Bankwest Head of Corporate Responsibility Lisa Holley said Easy Grants provided assistance to community groups across Western Australia.
“Bankwest is committed to contributing to the development of our communities and our Easy Grants help local groups with funding for initiatives that strengthen community resilience and well-being,” she said.
Since its inception in 2018, Easy Grants has assisted a variety of community organisations at a grassroots level.
The program has supported over 1800 local groups with grants of up to $1800.
