Following a raid on the Coffin Cheater clubhouse on Wednesday February 20, Bunbury Detectives have charged two men in relation to an assault.
It was alleged around 3.40am on Saturday February 2, the victim, a man in his 30s was at a licenced premises on Victoria Street in Bunbury with a group of people.
The two men were with another group of people at the premises.
An altercation occurred between the two groups and the victim was punched by the two men and when he fell to the ground they continued the assault.
The victim required treatment at the State Trauma Unit as a result of his injuries which included bleeding on the brain and a broken nose.
A 36-year-old East Bunbury man and a 39-year-old Eaton man has been charged with Act or Omission causing Bodily Harm.
Both men are due to appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court on March 14, 2019.
Approximately 9.20 Wednesday morning, seven police officers stormed the Zoe Street Coffin Cheater clubhouse.
The last time police raided the Bunbury clubhouse was last June.
