Go Geo and Athletics WA will showcase some of Australia's best pole vaulters next month.
The Pole Vault Street Meet - an exhibition-style pole vault competition - will entertain community members on Saturday, March 2 at 3pm.
Held on the corner of Eliot Street and Victoria St in the heart of Bunbury, the event is being touted the "first of its kind" in the region.
The event will bring together some of the nation's best pole vaulters for an afternoon of excitement.
Western Australian pole vaulter Nina Kennedy leapt to bronze at last year's Commonwealth Games, on the Gold Coast.
Kennedy will be joined in Bunbury by fellow Commonwealth Games pole vaulters Angus Armstrong and Declan Carruthers.
IAAF Continental Cup representative Stephen Clough, IAAF World Under 20 Representative Lauren Hyde-Cooling, and 2018 RAC Junior Sport Star of Year Sasha Zhoya are also along for the ride.
Commonwealth Games gold medalist Kurtis Marshall will co-host the event alongside the commentary team.
The meet will coincide with day one of the 2019 WesTrac Bunbury-Geographe Gift.
Athletes from all over the country will battle it out over two days, chasing the $78,000 prize pool.
