Four Bunbury sailing crews headed to Fremantle to compete in the S80 State Sailing Championships, hosted by the S80 Yacht Association of Western Australia.
Three of the four boats made the journey on the sea, while the fourth was taken to Perth by truck.
The four Bunbury boats joined a fleet of eight city crews, all vying to take out the title.
Racing was held in Owen Anchorage over three days with seven races in total.
There was a mixture of conditions which put crews to the test, including the on-water race committee and start teams.
There were some retirements and breakages plus a few man over-boards were called, keeping the support vessels busy too.
The crew of Miss Behavin managed to secure the S80 State Championship for Koombana Bay Sailing Club, in what was a well-executed campaign.
Miss Behavin's crew has been sailing together for the past three years.
Bunbury boat Rum Runner took second place, while Perth competitor Shadowfax finished in third place.
Consistency results were just as impressive for Koombana Bay Sailing Club
Perth sailors on Sweet Babs took first place, ahead of Rum Runner in second place, and Bunbury's Escape not too far behind.
The final boat from Bunbury, En Garde, managed to hold onto fifth place.
A presentation ceremony will be held Royal Perth Yacht Club on Saturday, May 25.
