Cameron Flynn (23) and Rose Aryang (10) kept East Perth in the contest. Eagles' star Janee Johnson secured a double-double, with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Dominating the game at every turn, the Slammers held a strong 52 to 34 margin at the main break.

The Slammers gelled as a team, helping them to secure a 90 to 68 round one win.
The men's side was not as fortunate, going down by 10 points in a thrilling contest.
Tyler Livingston maintained composure throughout the game and clinched a double-double (33 points and 12 rebounds).

James Goodlad impressed with 21 points and eight rebounds, while Michael Lay picked up 19 points and nine assists.

The Slammers' men's team will travel up the coast, before taking on Geraldton Buccaneers in SBL 2019 - Round Two.
The women's team will return to the court for their clash with Willetton Tigers in round three.
