Bunbury's newly iconic Koombana Bay footbridge will don purple lights on March 26 to raise awareness of epilepsy.
Purple Lights for Epilepsy WA shines a spotlight on the 26,000 Western Australians living with epilepsy - plus the 1400 new patients diagnosed each year.
Bunbury's Epilepsy WA Support Group facilitator, Michelle Spargo, invites anyone impacted by the common neurological condition to join the monthly community forum.
"We share our experiences and important information to create a supportive network for those living with epilepsy," Ms Spargo said.
"Ongoing support is vital for children and adults with epilepsy as they may face frequent and unpredictable seizures."
Bunbury's Epilepsy WA Support Group meets at 6.30pm on the first Tuesday of the month at St John of God Hospital Conference Room
