A strong crowd of competitors gathered at the Bunbury and Districts Power Boat Club, at the Leschenault Inlet, for the 2019 Millard Classic Competition.
The March long weekend saw 95 entrants, all vying for the top prize, head out onto the water.
In the junior competition, Hayden Skwiroski managed to catch an 18.69-kilogram Dhu Fish, before notching up a 1.215kg Break Sea Cod.
Zavier Hodge-Roberts picked up a 1.84kg Pink Snapper, while Jake Busswell caught a 1.100kg King George Whiting and a 0.195kg Whiting.
Tessa Lucas was all smiles after claiming a 0.155kg Herring.
The senior competition delivered its fair share of nice surprises.
Harley Kemp starred with a 20.435kg Dhu Fish, after Ben Cross nabbed a 2.17kg Sea Cod and a 1.209kg King George Whiting.
Sheridan Stewart (Pink Snapper, 7.035kg), David Diable (Baldchin, 4.585kg), Jesse Ghasseb (Whiting, 0.235kg), Anthony Fogliani (Herring, 0.210kg), and Ryan McGeoch, 2.81kg) also impressed during the event.

The club will hold a Furuno sounder techniques demonstration, presented by Furuno representative Rhyss Whittred, at Lyons Cove on Saturday, March 23 from 5.30pm.
