Peter Rabbit will be hopping into Dalyellup this weekend with a free movie night being provided for the community ahead of Easter celebrations.

Presented by Dalyellup Beach Estate on April 6 at Ferndale Park, the free event will begin at 5pm with the movie beginning at 6.45pm.

A visit from the Easter Bunny, pre-movie DJ music, trampolining demonstrations by Gravity and a cuddly animal farm will keep the whole family entertained.

Tuart Forrest Primary School P&C president Renee Freeman said the event was great for encouraging community spirit and bringing people together.

The school will be providing a range of stalls with fairy floss, drinks, beef and gravy rolls and an Easter raffle on offer.

Sporting groups and food trucks will also be serving up yummy treats. McDonalds and Bakers Delight will be providing Easter themed arts and crafts, raffles, competitions and voucher giveaways.

The community is encouraged to bring along picnic rugs, low chairs and sleeping bags to enjoy the movie.
