The Bunbury Men's Shed has reached out to assist one of the region's many prospering primary schools.
Seven Bunbury Men's Shed members worked to paint two fences and a wall at Cooinda Primary School on Wednesday, March 27.
The group's efforts were part of an ongoing Act.Belong.Commit campaign, designed to create a more "mentally healthy" school environment.
Bunbury Men's Shed organiser Robert Hayward said they were excited to be involved.
"The Men's Shed is all about coming together and mixing socially," he said.
"When we do things like this, our members get to know each other better."
Cooinda Primary School teacher, and school mental health coordinator, Megan Cooper said they strived to create initiatives revolving around physical and mental health.
"By promoting Act.Belong.Commit through working with the Bunbury Men's Shed, we will help to build individual resilience against mental health problems," she said.
