South Bunbury Football Club's women's team became the proud recipient of the 2019 Brooke Fiore Hair and Tanning Pre-season Cup.

Saturday's competition began with a spirited showdown between Eaton Boomers and Collie Eagles at Payne Park.

Kicking one goal each, both teams were neck-and-neck up until the final siren.

Creating more opportunities on goal, Collie moved through with a tight 1.4.10 to 1.0.6 win.

In a momentous upset, Harvey dished out a 27-point thrashing over reigning premiers Bunbury.

The Bulls booted a five-goal haul before securing a 5.0.30 to 0.3.3 victory.

The Bulldogs later redeemed themselves with a whopping 8.8.56 to 0.0.0 win over Eaton.

Maintaining pressure and keeping the ball up forward, Harvey qualified for the grand final with a 3.3.21 to 0.2.2 win over Collie.

At Hands Oval, Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault opened its account with an impressive result against Busselton.

A goal to Tanisha Anderson put South Bunbury ahead of Carey Park in the first half. Following two goals to Bethany Bond, the Tigers held a commanding lead at the main break.

An entertaining second half saw South Bunbury trounce the Panthers, 5.7.37 to 1.0.6.

Carey Park's day went from bad to worse after losing 2.0.12 to 2.3.15 to Busselton.

With support from Anderson, Bond, and captain Ebony Bilcich, South Bunbury booked a place in the decider with a decisive win over the Lions.
