Fremantle coach Ross Lyon labelled superstar Nat Fyfe an inspiration after the Brownlow medallist made a brilliant return against GWS.
Fyfe missed the Dockers derby loss against West Coast last week with concussion but bounced back with 31 disposals at Manuka Oval.
The gun midfielder took charge in a decisive final quarter as the Dockers booted six straight goals to run away with a 106-82 victory.
Lyon was reluctant to pin the win on one player but admitted his skipper's presence cannot be understated.
"I thought we were very good last week, bar our finishing and early defending, we don't want to make it about one player, there is certainly some great contributors outside of the midfield," Lyon said.
"When you play well it's not about one person, it was certainly a weight of numbers performance today.
"I walked into the rooms and there was 22 excited players and I didn't see one player sitting there, I saw 22 and that's the way Nat views it.
"But he's our captain and he's an inspiration and I thought he was an inspiration today with his contest."
The Giants may have lost their co-captains in successive weeks with Phil Davis leaving the game with an ankle injury after Callan Ward did his ACL in the last round.
"We think it's only a rolled ankle, we'll see how it goes and find that out in the next 48 hours," GWS coach Leon Cameron said.
"It's disappointing but that's life, everyone has to put up with injuries and we'll see if he's right for next week and if he's not I'm sure there's some hungry players ready to jump into his spot."
